Albert Burnside

Mr. Albert Burnside, 46, of Union City died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Exchange Street Church of Christ with Graham McGill officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the church. Albert “Big A” Burnside was born December 5, 1967, in Sallis, Mississippi, to A. L. Burnside, Jr. and Velma Burnside. He was baptized at an early age. He graduated from McAdams High School a former employee of Sara Lee and was employed by Titan Tire. He was married to the former LaChawnda Harper on February 12, 2000. He was a loving husband, father and father figure to his whole family.  He was preceded in death by his father, A. L. Burnside, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, LaChawnda Burnside of Union City, Tennessee; his children, Kelly C. Burnside of Kosciusko, Mississippi, Devin J. Burnside, Damon J. Burnside and Dominic J. Burnside, all of Union City, Tennessee and Con’Trell D. Edwards of Martin, Tennessee; a grandchild, McKenzie “KZ” Davis; his mother, Velma Burnside of South Fulton, Tennessee; sisters, Angel Burnside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Tutrenia (Leshon) Williams of Jackson, Mississippi; brothers, Jenkins Bernard Burnside of Union City, Tennessee, Shantez Tywon Burnside of South Fulton, Tennessee and Myron Burnside and Al Freeman Burnside, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, friends and cousins.
