Alisha Gadlen

Ms. Alisha Gadlen, 41, of Martin died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery in Rutherford.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Alisha Lakisha Gadlen Wells was born November 5, 1979 to the union of Geraldine Holmes and Harold Gadlen.

She was a graduate of Union City High School. She was employed at Parker in Greenfield. She grew up in Trenton, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Gadlen and Albert Wells, Sr.

She is survived by her children: Zavion Wright, Zanasha Gadlen, Dearca Nicholson and Ja'Siona Thompson, all from Martin, Tennessee; her mother, Geraldine Holmes and stepfather, James Holmes; (Flossie Wells); grandmothers, Lovie Reed and Iola Wells; brothers; Daman Wells, Reggie Wells (Inita Wells), and Lydale Wells (Raetice) and Jason Thompson all of Martin,Tennessee; along with aunts: Linda Cox, Beverly Montgomery (Preston Montgomery), San Champion (Kenneth Champion, Sr.), and Sherrod Wells; uncle, William Wells (Nessa), a special cousin, Neka Hairston; along with a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
