Alla Fay Martin

Ms. Alla Fay Martin, 85, of Paris died Saturday, June 8, 2024, at AHC Paris.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

Alla Fay Martin, referred to by many as “Granny,” was born on March 18, 1939, to the late Earl and Bennie Ray of Whitlock, Tennessee.

She was educated in the Henry County School System.  She worked as a Nurse, Housekeeper, and Loving Mother.  Alla was a devoted member and supporter of the choir and served as Church Mother to the Church of Living GOD Temple 347.

Those left to cherish her memories are her brother Earl (Carla) Ray Jr. Children, Linda (Kenny) Teague, James (Melba) Martin, Ricky (Mechelle) Martin, Curtis Martin, and Aretha (Brian) Martin. Grandchildren: Ekesha Ray, Christopher Martin, Desmond Giles, Ricky Martin, Malik Martin, and Rashaad Martin. Four Great Grandchildren, along with numerous loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
