Allen Ray Dennis, 73, of Hickman died Thursday, February 1, 2018, at his residence. Visitation will on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rawls Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Zion Missionary Baptist Church in East Chicago, IN. Interment will follow in Fern Oaks Cemetery in Griffith, IN. Divinity Funeral Home in East Chicago, IN will be in charge of the services in Indiana.He was born to the late Horace and Irma Dennis on June 22, 1944, in Union City, Tennessee.He was a member of Zion Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1963, United States Army Veteran and a retired steelworker.He is survived by his son, Allen Ray Dennis, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; a grandson, Patrick Allen Dennis of New York; a sister Joann White of Merrillville, IN; a brother Willie (Joyce) Williams of Union City; four nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.   Rawls Funeral Home – Union City 731-885-8110
