Mrs. Anna Pearl Bass, 85, of Union City died Saturday, September 21, 2024, at The Waters of Union City.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home.
She was born June 1, 1939, to the late William and Callie (Mayberry) Flowers in Centerville, TN.
She met and married the late Eddie D. Bass in January 31,1965. She was a 1958 graduate of Miles High School in Union City. She worked several years as a school crossing guard for the Union City Police Dept. She was also employed with Tyson Foods for 19 years.
She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Fulton, KY. She dedicated her life to Jehovah God in July 1968. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah until her death. She always talked to her family, friends and anyone she met about Jehovah.
She leaves to cherish her memories; four children, Douglas Callicott of Chattanooga, TN, Jacqueline (Melvin) Brown, Elaine Allen, and Jacob Bass all of Union City, TN, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Her sib lings; Sue Macon, Marie Cooper both of Union City, TN and Era (Eugene)Currin of Halls, TN. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Flowers, sister, Juanetta Huff, son in law, Leon Allen , stepchildren, Alvin and Yvonne Bass and her great granddaughter, Talayshia Brown.
