Mrs. Annice Faye Holloway Matthews, 61, of Fulton, KY died Thursday, September 27, 2012, at her residence.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Thomas Chapel CME Church in Hickman, KY with Rev. Kim Traylor and Rev. Gladys Tyler officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
Annice Faye Matthews (known as Ms. Chicken) was born to the late Mary Frances Purvine and George Edward Holloway, Sr. on June 9, 1951, in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
She was a member of Thomas Chapel CME Church. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person in the community.
She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved daughters, Monica (Elvis) Mayes of Hickman, Kentucky and Raco (Robert) Lownes of Lexington, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Elvis Holloway, Tomeka Holloway, Quiana Mayes and Tyrisha Mayes, all of Hickman, Kentucky and Ryan Lownes of Lexington, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Clayton and Gabrielle Holloway of Hickman, Kentucky; four sisters, Hope Holloway of Hickman, Kentucky, Samella Wilkins of Paducah, Kentucky and Velma Holloway and Althea (Robert) Jaycox of Fulton, Kentucky; two brothers, Richard (Mae) Holloway of Hickman, Kentucky and Virgil Holloway, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri; two stepsisters, Willie Ann (RC) Pierce of Hickman, Kentucky and Denise Purvine of Tiptonville, Tennessee; one stepbrother, Donnie Purvine of Hickman, Kentucky and two people who were very special to Faye, her niece and husband, Felisha and Corey Smith of Fulton, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances Purvine and father, George Edward Holloway, Sr. and brothers, Bradley Holloway, and George Edward Holloway, Jr.
