Mr. Antonio "Tony" Devaun Brown, 46, of Martin died Monday, April 19, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A visitation will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery.
Tony Devaun Brown was born November 21, 1974. He was born to Pam Brown and Larry Johnson.
Tony was an “Awesome” person he loved to make people smile. His laughter and smile was contagious. He ignited the atmosphere with his loving and compassionate spirit. Everyone loved Tony!! He loved to dress with everything matching especially his shirts, shoes and hats. His cars were incredibly detailed just like his sense of style.
Several years ago, he joined Progressive Baptist Church. He was a faithful and dedicated member. Tony loved his church family especially his Pastor, John Williams. Most importantly he loved the “Word of God” and truly believed in the Power of Prayer!!
Tony worked at Tyson Foods @ the Obion County Complex for 17 years. He was an outstanding team member was recently awarded for the years he worked for the company. His Tyson family loved him and he loved his work family. He defined TEAM by his actions.
Preceding him in death: His childhood sweetheart and loving wife, Dana Chapman. One brother, LaRocco “Rocky” Brown , Grandmother, Velma Albright, two uncles: Charles Albright, Gregory Albright. Bonus father, Bill Caldwell, Bonus mother, Florence Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his loving Memory: Daughter; Destiny Brown, Son; Antonio Brown Jr. of Martin, TN., Parents: Mother Pam (Timothy) Brown of Fulton, KY., Father: Larry Johnson of Union City, TN., Aunts: Pauline (Alfonso) Waters of Louisville, KY., Chiquita Albright of Union City, TN., Evon Johnson of Ohio.
His memory will be cherished by his: Mother-in law Kay Chapman of Martin, TN., Sister-in law: Denise (Tim) Sanders of Gleason, TN., Brother-in law: Norman (Sue) Chapman of Martin, TN. A special nephew: Joseph Chapman of Martin, TN.
Tony’s memory will be cherished by his special friend: DeEtt Peery Dennis of Dresden, TN. Godmother: Sherry (Michael) Martin, of Martin, TN., Godfather: Keith Edwards of Martin, TN. A cousin who was like a brother: Rico Albright of Louisville, KY. A close childhood friend: Tim Ball of Martin, TN. His memory will also be cherished by a host of cousins, close family members and wonderful friends.
