Aubrey "Bub" Martin

Mr. Aubrey “Bub” Martin, 91, of Paris died Friday, February 10, 2012, at Henry County Medical Center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Puryear with Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. He was born February 25, 1920, in Puryear, he was a son of the late Will and Emma Bell Martin. His wife, Margie Foster Martin, died Dec. 31, 1985. Martin was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He leaves four sons: Darrell (Tamara) Martin of Puryear and Harold Martin, Tim (Sylvia) Martin and Danny (Yvonne) Martin, all of Paris; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
