Mrs. Aurelia Latham Kincer, 43, of Goldsboro, NC formerly of Martin died Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Wayne UNC Healthcare in Goldsboro.
A viewing will be held from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in Parham Cemetery.
Aurelia Danielle Latham affectionately known as “Fat Cake” was born on April 6, 1977 to Andrew Lee Latham and the late Glenda Mae Latham.
To know Aurelia is to love her. She was the type of person who would literally give her very last if she had to. Aurelia was a very loyal person. She loved her family so much. She was the strong sense of the term “Ride or Die” especially when it came to family.
Aurelia was a 1996 graduate of Martin Westview High School. With her strong compassion for loving and taking care of people, she was strongly encouraged to earn her CNA license; which she accomplished. Something she faithfully done for almost 10 years. Due to health issues, she had to resign from the profession she so dearly loved.
Aurelia was a survivor of so many things and obstacles, one in particular was breast cancer. She was a 13-year survivor of that dreadful disease.
After careful consideration, Aurelia decided to move to Goldsboro, NC with her cousins. She wanted to be closer to her older cousins and also for a more tranquil, peaceful setting.
Aurelia was a quiet, shy person. Always had the ideal of “not wanting to bother anybody” as she would always say. But, not knowing the true sense of the term, THAT IS WHAT FAMILY IS FOR. But I, her 1st cousin, LaDonna Brown-Temiro, can truly speak for the family. “ Aurelia you were never a bother to anyone; because you are family. And most importantly we will always love you”.
