Mrs. Beatrice Parker, 84, of Huntingdon died Friday, September 6, 2013, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2013, at St. Paul Baptist Church in Huntingdon with Rev. Charles Coplin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon on Monday at the church.
Beatrice Marie Thomas Parker was born December 23, 1928, in Carroll County to the late Chester and Ora Lee Thomas.
She was a retiree of Southern Biological Supply Co. in McKenzie, Tennessee for a number of years. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed her.
She was married to James E. Parker for twenty-three years.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her children, Marion (Judy) Williams of Jackson, Tennessee, Addie (Prentice Jr.) McClerkin of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Jerry W. Brown of Lexington, Tennessee and Shane (Avja) Brown of Germany; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Sandra Ray of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister-in-law, Cora Thomas; many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Cerial, James, J. B. and Gene Thomas and two sisters, Willie Watson and Mary J. Parker. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
