Bill Floyd

Mr. Bill Floyd, 57, of Lexington, KY formerly of Paris died Monday, January 8, 2018, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Progressive Baptist Church.

He was born on March 24, 1960, to Mary Walker and the late Orid Rankin II. At the age of twelve he moved to Paris to live with his grandparents Cresent and Darling Upchurch Yancy.

He graduated from Henry County High School where he played football, basketball and ran track. Bill was a member of Russell Cave Church of Christ in Lexington, KY former employee of Plumley Rubber Company, a semi-truck driver and a member of the Tennessee National Guard.

He is survived by wife, Mary Floyd of Lexington, KY; his mother, Mary (George) Walker of Savannah, GA; two sons, Chad Hutcherson of Paris, TN and Rekeal (Sarah) Floyd of Louisville, KY; four daughters; Heaven Floyd of Lexington, KY, Asia Howard, Aashanna Lewis, and Shana Floyd all of Paris, TN; sixteen grandchildren, Brooke, Braelyn, Darius, Exavrionna, Trenton, Trey, Simone, Siru, King, Calasia, Nevaeh, AvryHanna, Harley, Jimmy, Juelz and Ameigh’elle; three sisters, Jackee(John) Powell and Marie (Michael) Peavy both of Chicago, IL and Alice Teague of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Felix Freeman of Chicago, IL; a close cousin, Norvel (Keisha) Jefferson of Chicago, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
