Bobbie Nelle Tharpe

Mrs. Bobbie Nelle Reddick Tharpe, 67, of Paris died Sunday, July 12, 2020, at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

She was born to her loving late parents John Wesley and Lizzie Mae Williams Reddick on July 10, 1953 in Paris, Tennessee.

Bobbie was reared and educated in the Paris-Henry County School System. Graduating from Henry County High School, class of 1971.

She was a member of Wiley United Methodist Church. Bobbie married William "Cookie" Tharpe on May 5,1984 to this union on July 24, 1989 they were blessed with their Angel of Love, the late Marissa Danielle Tharpe. Bobbie loved God, family and friends. Bobbie and William Build a Beautiful life for their daughter. Bobbie loved sewing and was great at it. She also loved cooking and traveling.

Leaving to cherish her loving memories husband, William "Cookie" Tharpe, sisters Mary Sims, Johnnie Burney, Joyce Vincent and Jean (Steven) Davis, nieces Amena, Shewana, Tomika nephews Kevin, Kenric, John and Steven; great nieces, great nephews, several sisters and brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents John and Lizzie Reddick, daughter Marissa Tharpe, sister Thelma Reddick and brother Jerry Reddick.
