Mrs. Bonnie Lou "Lucy" Crutchfield, 81, of Martin died Friday, December 11, 2015, at Van Ayer Healthcare & Rehab. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015, at McCabe United Methodist Church with Rev. Orrin Cowley officiating. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Bonnie L. Crutchfield was born in Dresden, Tennessee on August 7, 1934, to the late Joe McDonald and Kate Mosley McDonald. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of McCabe United Methodist Church. Bonnie was a compassionate and dedicated woman, to know her was to love her. She was a retired employee of the Rigid Pharmacy in Baltimore, Maryland and University of Tennessee at Martin. Ms. Crutchfield had a passion for cooking and could always be found in the kitchen. Remarkably, she was noted for her homemade butter rolls. She was married to the late Joe L. Crutchfield. She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Melinda McDonald of Martin, Tennessee, Daisy Young (Earnest) of Baltimore Maryland, Kathy Vincent of Martin, Tennessee and Clara Hamilton (James) of Martin, Tennessee; one son, Joe Lloyd Jones of Martin, Tennessee; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Ora Lee Scott of New York, Mary McDonald of Dresden, Tennessee, Betty Evans of Sharon, Tennessee and Bobby J. McDonald of Baltimore, Maryland; three brothers, Virbil L. McDonald (Ruth) of Baltimore, Maryland, Ramond McDonald of Baltimore, Maryland and Jimmie L. McDonald (Evangeline) of Dresden, Tennessee; five special nieces, Gloria Pope (James) of Martin, Tennessee, Annie Jones (Michael) of Sharon, Tennessee, Jackie Evans of Sharon, Tennessee, Shelia McDonald of Dresden, Tennessee and Elisha Mays (Marvelle) of Martin, Tennessee; a special and dear friend, Linda Davis of Martin, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe L. Crutchfield; two sisters, Alice Boykin and Mary Bell McDonald and three brothers, Joseph McDonald, Ben McDonald and William McDonald.
