Mrs. Brenda Ingram, 72, of Union City died Thursday, February 20, 2020, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
She was born on June 22, 1947 in Union City, TN, to Adrain McGee and Elizabeth Landrum.
Brenda married James Henry Leonard Ingram Sr., on October 8, 1963. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2018.
She received her Master’s Degree in Music, Lane College Jackson, TN; Bachelor of Science-Nursing degree; and Associate Degree in Communication Indiana-Purdue University, Bloomington IN.
Brenda last worked at Methodist Hospital, VA Hospital, WGRT Mid-Morning and WTLC Quotation Unlimited radio stations in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Brenda leaves her loving children: Kenneth (Anissa) Ingram, Dexter, MO, Towanna Ingram, Christ “Bam” Ingram, Christopher “Chris” (Terry) Brann all of Union City, TN; James Ingram Jr. and Debra Ingram, Union City, TN; one brother: Ernest (Francis) Roberson; She gained (12) grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; a special friend, Cloresa Ingram; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Gloria Brann, brother & sister-in-law William Bennett “Benny” (Rebie Jewel) McGee, daughter, Trina Ingram-Bishop , nephews Michael McGee and Robert (Rosemary) McGee.
