Burnette Milton

Ms. Burnette Milton, 65, of Indianapolis formerly of Henry died February 8, 2024.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Henry Pentecostal Apostolic Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

She was born to the Late John Williams at Mamie Fay Milton on May 30th, 1958, in Henry County Tennessee. She grew up in Henry, TN a small family community where she went to grade school, graduated from Henry County High School then later studied business Accounting at Bethel University in McKenzie, TN.

Burnette gave her life to God at an early age being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at Henry County Apostolic Pentecostal Church of God under the leadership of Elder Water McBride Later receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Burnette was a faithful and dedicated member serving wherever needed in the body of Christ, Barnett loved her family and enjoyed working in her yard in her spare time. In 1980 Burnett relocated to Indianapolis IN where she became a member of Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of Bishop Thomas E Griffith Serving as a faithful member for over 40 years. She worked in retail at Value City for 12 years and TJ max for 19 years where she retired.

Burnette was preceded in death by her father and mother John William and Mamie Milton.

Burnette leaves to Cherish her memories her beloved son Jonathan Milton, two Brothers William(Jean) Milton, John(Pamala) Milton, three Sisters Linda Armstrong, Vanessa (Eddie) Waymyers, Sylvia (William) Milton-Crute. Nephew and Nieces; Stephanie, Vanda, Tamika and Justin Armstrong, Dan Earl Devone Terry and Destiny Milton, Adrian Teague, Edwin and Jasmine Weymyers, James Casey, Ronisha Cathryn and PJ.
