Mr. Carey L. Edwards, 69, of Martin died Friday, February 9, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Monday, February 19, 2024, in Parham Cemetery. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
He was born in Fort Benning, GA on May 14, 1954, to Charles Edwards, Sr. and the late Lula B Scott.
He worked for many years as nurse.
He is survived by his father, Charles Edwards, Sr.; siblings, Billy Abu Smith, Darlene Todd, Danny Pettigrew, Lee Kalah Smith, Charles Edwards, Jr. and Wayne Edwards; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
