Carl Edward Mcwherter

Mr. Carl Edward McWherter, 62, of Union City died Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Weakley County Nursing Home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born on January 28, 1961, in Union City, TN to the late Flossie Knox and C.W. Mosley. He loved to play the drums, classic rock music and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Jacquay (Kimberly) McWherter; grandchildren, Michael Moon, Nathan Moon, Victoria (Adrian) Moon-Webster, Antonio (Alexus) Moon and Kianna Moon; eleven great grandchildren; brothers, James "Jimmy" Mosley, Wilber "Mac", Jacquet, Charles and Gerald McWherter; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

He was also predeceased by a great grandson, Cortez Moon.
