Charles Edward Boykin, Jr.

Mr. Charles "Boo" Boykin, Jr., 63, of Union City died Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Charles Edward Boykin, Jr., also known as “Boo,” was born on October 22, 1958, in Humboldt, Tennessee to Charles Edward Boykin, Sr. and Lucille Miller Boykin.

Charles is survived by his mother; Lucille Boy kin of Union City, TN, four sisters; First Lady, Wil lie Mae (Reverend Phillip) Sanders of Clinton, KY, Sandra Bryson of Jackson, TN, Charlene Boykin of Union City, TN, Mamie Lee Turner of Nashville, TN, one aunt; Mary Boykin Hunt, one uncle; Herman Glenn Boykin, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father; Charles E. Boykin, Sr., aunt; Fannie Sue Farmer, paternal grandparents; Alexander and Mary Boykin, maternal grandparents; Milt and Caroline Miller and a nephew; Lee Vern Turner, Jr
