Mr. Charles Wardell Brown, Jr., 58, formerly of Martin died Monday, January 20, 2025, in Jackson, MI.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at McCabe United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
“C B” by his Grand Rapids Michigan family was born on February 23, 1966, to the late CHARLES Wardell Brown, Sr. and be late Cora Mae Brown in Martin, Tennessee.
He was educated through the Weakley County Public School system. Throughout CHARLES‘s life, he worked at various manufacturing companies until his health no longer allowed him to do so. So, he settles for a slower lifestyle, which included time with family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish his sweet memories are as follows, his eldest child. Daughter; Dashai O’Leary (Eugene) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Master Son CHARLES, Wardell Brown III(Kameron) of Martin, Tennessee, Daughter; Ilesha Brianna Brown and Son; Isaiah O’Brian Brown both of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Grandchildren: E’Miah Shakeena Irene O’Leary, Josiah De’Shawn Eugene, O’Leary, and Harmonee Renee Marie O’Leary. Grand dogs, Gunner Boy, Milo, and the late Chloe Bell. Also, a very special friend and the mother of his two youngest children, Leona Taylor (Lisa) also of Grand Rapids Michigan. Never leaving my brother side thank you. Also left to cherish Charles’s beautiful memories are his youngest sister; La Donna Brown- Temiro (Babatunde) of Goldsboro, North Carolina, sisters, Ida LaNita Graves of Martin, Tennessee, Alberta, Marie Graves, of Tacoma, Washington, and Yvonne Udelia Williams of Danville, Virginia. Amazing uncles, aunts Hosts of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, very special friends: Antonio Hogard, Marshall Randle Sr. Michael Jay Scott,
George Williams, Rodney Puckett, Anthony White, Randy Scott, David Winston, Joey Williams, and
Otis Crayton. Favorite Cousin /Brother Reggie Latham!
Proceeding CHARLES Wardell Brown Jr in death besides parents; sisters, Valerie Selene Smith, Joy Deneen Etheridge; our oldest brother and mentor CHARLES Curtis Graves, and youngest brother Matthew Lewis Graves. Special first cousin, the late Aurelia Latham ♥♥. also proceeding our brother CHARLES’s death, two of his best friends since childhood James Albert White Jr and James Curtis Graves may all your gentle souls rest in peace.
