Mr. Charles M. "Marcus" Love, 43, of Paducah formerly Paris died Friday, September 26, 2025, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Sparks St. Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Marcus Love was born in Henry County, Tennessee, and was educated in the Henry County Public School System. A proud 2000 graduate of Henry County High School in Paris, Tennessee, Marcus went on to build a life filled with dedication, love, and care for others. He worked in fast food, retail management, and manufacturing before pursuing higher education. In 2006, he earned his associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Paducah Technical College in Paducah, Kentucky.

Marcus was baptized at an early age, beginning a lifelong walk of faith that guided his character and his love for people. Known for his warm heart, Marcus cherished spending time with family and friends. He loved traveling and cooking, often preparing special dinners for his parents as a way to say, “I love y’all and appreciate everything you’ve done for me.”

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Elaine Teague Crutchfield; his paternal grandparents, Charlie and Virginia Odell Love; and his niece, Kaleigh Paige Love Haines.

Marcus leaves to treasure his memory: his loving parents, Charles and Syrener Love; three beloved daughters, Amysha Wade of Paducah, Kentucky, Inesha Williams of Paris, Tennessee, and Syonna Teague of Indianapolis, Indiana; three cherished bonus children, Tre Teague of Chicago, Illinois, and Nyla and Cierra Teague of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Elaina Love (Marcus Aldridge); one niece, Libby Aldridge; two great aunts, Merl Tharpe and Velma Williams; two special aunts, Geneva Tharpe and Betty Nored, all of Paris, Tennessee; four close friends, James Johnson of Paducah, Kentucky, Michael Littleton, Tshun Davis of Paris, Tennessee, and Wesley McNeal of Murray, Kentucky; along with a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will forever cherish his life and legacy.

Marcus’s journey was marked by love, faith, and kindness. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
