Chester Lee Gibbs, Jr.

Mr. Chester Lee Gibbs, Jr., 75, of South Fulton died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016, at The United Church of The Living God. He was born in Union City, Tennessee on May 12, 1941, to the late Chester Lee and Lennie Hooks Gibbs. He was a 1959 graduate of Miles High School. He served in the United States Army and was a retired postal worker. He is survived by, Dorothy Waters and Elisabeth Gibbs; his children, Gabriella (Ivan) Goins, Melinda Rice and Ivy Lynn (Rayshaun) Langston; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; his sisters, Patsy Duncan and Dorothy Bartlett; a son in law, George Wray and host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lenneka Wray and a brother, Bobby Gibbs. Rawls Funeral Home - South Fulton 731-479-2181
