Christal Jean Triplet

Mrs. Christal Jean Triplet, 57, of Martin died Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at her residence. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Miles Chapel Church. Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday. She was born May 17, 1957 from the union of Mary Frances Callicutt Pope and Luther Pope, both whom preceded her in death. She departed this life on November 5, 2014 at her home in Martin, Tennessee. “Chris” as we called her, was born and raised in Obion County, Tennessee. She was one of ten siblings, four of which preceded her in death (Jerry, William, Walter and Edna).She united in holy matrimony to Isom Henry Triplet on August 24, 1978. They lived in Obion County for a period of time, later in Fulton, Kentucky then moved to Murray Kentucky and returned back to Martin. After continuing her education in the North, she worked as a certified nurses assistant until her health prevented her from continuing in the medical field. She truly loved the Lord and spoke highly of Creflo A. Dollar ministries. Her favorite pastimes were swimming, reading the word and laughing. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Isom Henry Triplet, Martin, Tn., Sons: Ronnie (Pam) Triplet, Cadiz, Ky, Isom Burton, Evansville, Ind., Daughters: Bonita Pope, whom preceded her in death, Domica, Murray, Ky., Christy (Rob) Fulton, Union City, Tn., Sharita Heglar, Atlanta, Ga., and Shatippia Heglar, Texas. Grandchildren: Devron, Shayla and Rondrea, Cadiz, Ky., Xavier Burton, Evansville, Ind., Marsh’ia, Murray, Ky., LaDarius and Caterra Fulton, Union City, Tn., Roneishia Heglar and Dorniyah Powers, Atlanta, Ga., Temerion, Mariuce, Marjadakiss, Shaniyah and Ateen Heglar, Texas. Siblings: Laura Phelps, James (Gloria) Pope, Lula Cook, Ronnie Abbott and Debra Jackson, all of Martin, Tn., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, in-laws, friends and family.
