Christian Johnson

Mr. Christian "Chris" Johnson, 58, of Union City died Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Magnolia Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Vine Street Church of Christ.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Christian Dwayne Johnson was born December 13, 1966, in Union City, Tennessee. He was the son of Freddy Johnson and Geneva Crumble. He gained his wings on December 5, 2024. He transitioned in the care of the Magnolia Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Covington, TN.

Christian gave his life to God at the early age of four Christian gave his life to God at the early age of fourteen at the Church of Christ in Carbondale, Illinois. He was a loving brother and son that will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two siblings, Sidney R. Pirtle, Sr., and Steve Johnson. Two daughters; Bretta Hillard and Lakria Mosley. Six grandchildren; Lonyn Skye Mosley, Lauryn Mosley, Landyn Mosley, Kennedi Shields, Harmoni Shields, and Leslie Shields.

Preceding him in death was one brother; Jerry Lenard Johnson, three uncles; Felix Paul Pirtle. Donald Pirtle, and W. D. Pirtle, four aunts; Alice Faye Dysart, Joyce Dysart, Alma Pirtle, and Tammy Greer.
