Chysea Myranda Marney

Ms. Chysea Myranda Marney, 43, of Union City died Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home.

Myranda Accepted Christ at an early age at True Gospel Baptist Church in Union City TN. Myranda, with her companion of 20 years, Rhynia Reaves, has one daughter, Chysea "Zora" Reaves.

Myranda was a loving friend and family member. She ALWAYS loved and cared about others. She would give you the shirt off her back and a few choice words, all at the same time, but with so much love. Rather you called her Boom, Randy, Juicy G-Buck, Lil Cookie, Judy, Sista, Baby, or Moma, she will always beloved and never forgotten.

She leaves to mourn, her companion, Rhynia Reaves; daughter, Chysea "Zora" Reaves. Mother, Pamela King Norman of Union City, TN; father, Gerald Marney and mother, Sherri Marney of Martin, TN; grandmother, Viola Marney of Hickman, KY; sister, Tennille (Keith) Garrett of Dyersburg, TN; nephew, Mahyryion Z. McElrath of Dyersburg, TN; aunts and uncles, Penny and Craig Moore of Hunstville, AL; Cheryl and Kenneth King, Estes King of Union City, TN; Terry and Denise King of Martn,TN; Stafford and Andrea King of South Fulton, TN; Joyce King of Indiana, Charolette and Donald Southern of Martin,TN; Myra and Danny Mosley of Union City, TN; Sandra Crume and Clarance Jones of Aurora, IL; Stanley and Pmonia Marney of South Fulton, TN; Larry Nicholson of Memphis,TN.
