Mrs. Clara Bell Dunlap, 72, of Paris died Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at Henry County Medical Center. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Puryear with Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Clara Bell Dunlap was born in Jackson, Mississippi on October 3, 1942, to her late parents, Percy and Bular Bateman Dennis. Clara was reared and educated in Chicago, Illinois. She was a very loving person and enjoyed being with people. She married Dudley “Bill” Dunlap on October 3, 1972. They returned to Paris, Tennessee in 2000. She remained working as a nurse and was presently employed with Albert Ross Tharpe Services. Upon moving to Paris, she became a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and church. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her beloved husband, Dudley “Bill” Dunlap; children, Cornell Mack of Chicago, Illinois and Bobbie (Ralph) Cowan, Barbara (Joe) Buffored and William Lee McCutcheon, all of Paris, Tennessee; a host of grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Brown, Ruby (Mario) Coleman and Olivia Brown, all of Chicago, Illinois and other relatives, in-laws and friends. Clara Bell Dunlap has transitioned into eternal life to join the following family members: her parents; son, John Mack; sisters, Catherine, Anna Mae, Rosa Lee, Marjorie Ann and Mary and brothers, Willie Evans, Willie Brown, Nathaniel, Bernard and David Brown.
