Clara Belle Taylor

Ms. Clara Belle Taylor, 84, of Martin died Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital. Services will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Old Fulton Road Church of Christ with Bro. Nathaniel Holmes Officiating. Interment will follow in Parham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9a.m. Saturday at the church. Ms. Clara Belle Taylor was born August 11, 1927, to Emmanuel and Lucy Taylor in Martin, Tennessee. She was baptized in Christ on March 10, 1974, and became a loving member of the Church of Christ. She worked as a nursing aid at Volunteer Community Hospital. After her retirement, she devoted her life to God, family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Martha (James) Irvine of Albany, New York, Charles (Mary) Taylor of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ruby Windom of Nashville, Tennessee (Roy Taylor, who preceded her in death, has now been reunited). She also leaves loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; special friends, Sister Ernestine Scott and Ms. Linda Davis and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
