Mr. Clarence William "C.W." Spears, 77, of Fulton died Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Brooks Chapel Kingdom Harvest Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at the church.
Clarence William Spears was born to the late Lester & Lydia Spears on July 11, 1944 in Indianola, Mississippi.
He was confessed to Christ at an early age. He was a member at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
For fourteen years he worked for the riverboat following his father’s steps, then later went to Tyson for 10 years the retired.
He leaves to cherish his wife, Thelma Spears; his children: Melissa Spears Clark ( Orrin) of South Fulton, Sharmaine Ingram of Fulton, KY; Stephanie Wynn of Union City, Irene Ingram of Fulton, Stephon Ingram of Fulton; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; sisters: Hazel Lee Courtney, Mattie Lou Jackson; brothers: J.B. Spears, Sydney Spears, Carl Spears, Charlie Spears, Jonathan Spears and Lester Spears, Jr.
