Mr. Damon Jaquan Burnside, 16, of Union City died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at his residence.Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Exchanged Street Church of Christ with Graham McGill officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon until time of service on Saturday at the church.He was born on February 15, 2001, in Union City, Tennessee to Albert and LaChawnda (Harper) Burnside.He was a member of Vine Street Church of Christ and a student at Union City High School. He loved to play football, basketball and baseball.He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Burnside; grandfathers, Albert Burnside, Jr. and Johnny Riley.He is survived by his mother, LaChawnda Burnside, of Union City, TN; a sister; Kelly Burnside of Kosciusko, MS; brothers, Devin Burnside and Dominic Burnside both of Union City, TN and Con’Trell Edwards of Detroit, MI; nieces McKenzie Davis and Lauren Burnside both of Kosciusko, MS; a nephew, Landon of Kosciusko, MS; grandmothers, Sharon McDonald of Union City, TN and Velma Lee Burnside of South Fulton, TN; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.   Rawls Funeral Home – Union City 731-885-8110
