David Louis Ware, Sr.

Mr. David Louis Ware, Sr., 73, of Fulton died Monday, December 30, 2024, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Brook Hill Memorial Garden in Paducah, KY.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

David Louis Ware, Sr. was born December 21, 1951, to the late Jimmie Ware and Queen Esther Campbell Ware in Fulton County, Kentucky.

David was a retired Navy Veteran. He was a retiree from Goodyear David was a retired Navy Veteran. He was a retiree from Goodyear located in Union City, Tennessee. He was a devoted husband that loved his beautiful wife, Oma. They were joined in holy matrimony on October 18, 2016. He was a man that loved his family and hers. David was also a faithful believer in Christ. He was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board, Sunday school teaching staff, security team, van driver, and any area that he could help people. From time to time, he and Oma would visit her home church, where he would serve and help wherever needed. He was a man that loved God and God’s people. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to help those in need. He had a heart of gold and a smile that was full of kindness and love.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife; Oma Ware, his biggest joy, Left to cherish his memories is his wife; Oma Ware, his biggest joy, his children; Ronnie (Annette) Connell, Joseph (Toya) Ware, Virgil Ware, Natasha Avent, Tamera Ware, Nicholas Ware, Dara (Greg) Hagler, and stepson Trey (Dani) Pearson. Also left to cherish him is his siblings; Lee (Jennifer) Ware, Betty Jean Gibson, Lois Ware, Bobby (Vanessa) Ware, Harold (Bertha) Ware, Lorenzo (Mary) Ware, Calvin Ware, Pastor Michael Crumble, Joseph Crumble, and Priscilla Crumble, twenty-three grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, in-laws, cousins, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Jimmie Ware and Queen Esther Campbell Ware; late wife Nora Ware; son, David Ware ; sister, Alice Ware and brother, Jewell Campbell.
