Deandrez Cortteair Monroe

Mr. DeAndrez Cortteair Monroe, 45, of Union City died Friday, April 7, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the church.

DeAndrez Cortteair Monroe was born May 6, 1977, to Linda Fay Monroe and Darren Price in Centerville IL. He was the only child of this union.

DeAndrez Monroe graduated from East Saint Louis High School. He worked at the Cardinal Bush Stadium for several years and later work at Tyson Foods for 14 years.

DeAndrez loved his Family and Friends very much and love his children sporting events and watching movies.

He dedicated his life to Christ at a early age and was a faithful member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.

DeAndrez Monroe was preceded in death by Linda Fay Monroe, Abraham Monroe, Marie Price, and Tye Frye.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 26 years "Angel" Tamakieta Monroe of Union City TN, four children DeAndrez Williams (Ayanna) of Huntsville Al, Cortteaira Boyd {Kenneth) of Obion TN, DeAndrez Monroe Jr of Union City TN, and DeAngelo Monroe of Union City TN.

Continued to mourn is his Father Darren Price {Kamil) of Fairview Heights II, eight sisters Laketra Monroe of East Saint Louis IL., Darrenisia Price of Belleville IL, Amber Monroe (Quan) of Belleville II. Darrieal Price of St. Louis MO, Bianca Monroe of St. Louis, Porscha Price of Katy TX, Stephanie Gegg {Darren} of St. Louis MO, and Alexia Lewis of Belleville IL. Five brothers Darren Combs (Yvonne} of Atlanta GA, Justin Washington of Alorton IL. Darren Price, Jr {Sarah} of St. Louis MO. Sybonn Eubanks of East St. Louis IL. Natereace Strong of East St. Louis IL. Three grandchildren Isiah Williams of Kissimmee FL, Hezekiah Cole Williams of Jackson TN. and Dawson Boyd of Obion TN., and a host of Aunties, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, church family and friends.
