Diamond Michelle Askins

Ms. Diamond Michelle Askins, 17, of Martin died Monday, November 22, 2021, at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel in Union City.

Diamond Michelle Askins was born on December 22,2003, in Dyersburg, Tennessee. She was a very sweet soul. She was beautiful, intelligent, and nice to everyone. She and her big little sister, Crystal, were very very close. She was a loving daughter to her mom, Yasmine.

She attended the Weakley County School system in Martin, TN. She was very athletic and loved being on the cheer squad at Martin Middle School. She, her sister and mother were members of the Eastside Baptist Church in Martin, TN.

Diamond’s sudden passing has left the family devastated, but we know she is in a better place where she’s no longer suffering.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Yasmine Askins; sister, Crystal Askins; aunt, Morgan Olasin; cousin, Catalena of Madison, Alabama; great-aunts, Julia, Constance, and Wanda Terry of Martin, TN and her cousins, Anjelika, Delesea, Ian, LaShae, Leighila, Fredrick, Thomas, and Malcolm.

She was preceded in Heaven by her grandmother; Yetta R. Terry, grandfather; S.J. Askins, cousin; Thomas A. Terry, Jr., great-grandparents; Willie Ruth and Monroe Terry and great grandmother, Ollie Bell White.
