Donald Freeman

Mr. Donald Freeman, 65, of Paris died Monday, January 31, 2022, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A graveside memorial services will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022, in Greenwood Cemetery.

A memorial walk through visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until noon on Friday in Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born on July 21, 1956, as one of twin boys to Earl and Cordia “Penny” Howard Freeman in Paris, TN. He was a 1974 graduate of Henry County High School and completed the Auto Mechanics Program at McKenzie Vocational School in 1976.

He was married on May 20, 2016, to Freddie Tharpe.

Donald was employed for over 40 years at Ed Covington Chevrolet and Peppers Automotive.

He is survived by his wife, Freddie Tharpe Freeman; mother, Cordia Freeman; daughters, Nickki (Cliff) Stevick, Ivy Hutcherson, Deidre Freeman, Jasmine (Brandon) Stokes and Ke’niah Wilson; son, Mikela Freeman; sister, Sabre (Terry) Fuller; aunt, Jacqueline Tharpe; a host of grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Freeman, a son, Miguel Cowan and his twin Ronald Freeman .
