Mr. Donald Leon Johnson, 41, of South Fulton died Thursday, June 23, 2016.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at South Fulton Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, KY.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
Donald Leon “D.J.” Johnson was born on January 31, 1975, in South Fulton, Tennessee to Rev. Anthony and Darlene (Brown) Johnson, Sr. He departed this life on Thursday, June 23, 2016.
He was a 1994 graduate of South Fulton High School where he played football. Donald received a degree in Auto-Mechanics from West Kentucky Community and Technical College. He was saved at an early age and attended Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. The successful business owner of D.J.‘s Auto Repair in Fulton, Kentucky and the fulltime karaoke singer at the Keg.
He is survived by his children, Bryce Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee, Blake Johnson of South Fulton, Tennessee, Brooklyn, Braelynn and Braxton Johnson of Mayfield, Kentucky; his parents, Pastor Anthony and Darlene Johnson of South Fulton, Tennessee; brothers, Pastor Buster (Kristen) Johnson of Clinton, Kentucky and George Johnson of Paducah, Kentucky; special cousin raised as a brother, Demetrius Brown of Columbus, Ohio; a very special friend, Kelly O’Connell of South Fulton, Tennessee; aunt and uncle who was his second parents, Vickie and David Dickerson of Fulton, Kentucky and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death was his maternal grandparents, Joe, Sr. and Tempie Brown, paternal grandparents, Buster and Louise Johnson and his brothers, Anthony Johnson, Jr. and Thomas “JT” Johnson.
