Doris Pettigrew

Mrs. Doris Ann Pettigrew, 82, of Union City died Friday, March 21, 2025, at her home.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born on June 26, 1942, to the late Melvin and Ida Mae Leonard in Union City, TN. She was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. She worked as a nurse at Baptist Hospital for many years.

She was also preceded in by a son, Patrick Pettigrew.

She is survived by her children, Kimie Pettigrew and Michael Pettigrew; a grandson, Terrance Pettigrew; a great grandchild, Ja’niyah Pettigrew; a sister, Wanda Harris; three bonus children whom she loved as her own Jeffery Scales, Jennifer Scales and Gio Fair and a host of other relatives and friends.
