Mrs. Dorothy Jewell Clark, 89, of Paris died Thursday, October 26, 2017, at her residence. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Allen Temple CME Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.Visitation will begin at noon on Wednesday at the church.She was born on November 24, 1927, in Southside to the late Johnnie Boyd Williams and Margaret Collins Williams. She was married on July 6, 1946, to Clarence Clark, who preceded her in death.She was a member of Allen Temple CME Church, where she was a member of the Stewardess Board and served as the church treasurer. She retired from First Trust and Savings Bank after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Henry County Board of Equalization, a board member of the Northwest Area on Aging and Disability and a lifetime member of the NAACP.She is survived by two daughters: Deborah C. Howard of Atlanta and Angela Y. Williams of Marrieta, Ga.; two granddaughters: Jamila K. Howard of Arlington, Va., and Curan B. Singletary of Marietta; a sister, Janie Malbru of Arlington, Texas; and a brother, James W.
