Edith Mae Bowers

Mrs. Edith Bowers, 76, of Union City died Thursday, January 5, 2012, at Union City Manor Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on August 9, 1935, in Weakley County, Tennessee, to the late Simon and Leona Caldwell Phelps. She was a member of Terrell Grove Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Leotis Bowers. She is survived by her husband, Leotis Bowers of Union City, Tennessee; one brother, Bobby (Gladys) Phelps of Martin, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Michael A. Phelps of Union City, Tennessee and Carlotta Phelps Banks of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; eight great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
