Mrs. Edna Ruth Guthrie, 63, of Paris died Saturday, July 4, 2020, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon until time of service on Saturday at the Rawls Funeral Home.
She was born on December 25, 1956, in Paris to the late Clarence and Christine Whitmore Somerville. She was educated in the Henry County School System. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
She is survived by her children, Franklin (Tomeka) Perry and Monica Hudson; a special ex son in law, Roy Hudson; siblings, Minnie Wilkins, Margaret Somerville, Hattie Porter, Betty (Leroy) Pearson and Don (Christy) Somerville; cousin, Shirley (Pete) Smith, a host of nieces, nephews and a special friend, Cherokee.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Keith Guthrie; a granddaughter, Whitley Hudson and siblings, James Somerville, Dan Somerville, Salley Curtis and Castine Foster.
