Elizabeth L. Knox

Mrs. Elizabeth L. Knox, 90, of Paris died Saturday, February 19, 2022, in Nashville.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Wiley Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel.

A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church.

She was born September 21, 1931, in Paris to Marlee and Ben H. Kendall (both deceased). She was married to Andrew L. Knox, Sr. (deceased) in November 1951.

She retired from Holley Carburetor as a machinist in Paris. She was an active member of Wiley Chapel United Methodist Church and served in various capacities.

She is survived by children Andrew L. Knox, Jr. (Janis), Janese Perry (Gregory), Beverly Chatham (Patmore), Lewey F. Knox (Kimberly), Patricia D. McClain (Anthony) and a dear son James Anderson (Jackie). She is also survived by a sister, Peggy L. Tharpe (Bracie). Her sister Flossie Ray and brother John Kendall preceded her in death. She has nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a life-long dear friend Vivian Puckett survive her.
