Ernest “Co-Pilot” Williams, age 70, of Paris, Tennessee, passed away on September 2, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Born on December 19, 1954, Co-Pilot spent his entire life in Paris, where he built lasting friendships and touched countless lives. Known for his big heart and outgoing nature, he truly never met a stranger. He was also a proud and devoted Tennessee Vols fan, always cheering on his team with passion.
He is survived by his loving wife, Terra Lynn Williams of Hollow Rock, TN; his mother, Lauretta McCutcheon of Paris; his son, Gavin (Allyson) Williams of Puryear; his sister, Joan (Ted) Teague of Paris; his sister, Yvonne (Danny) Martin of Paris; his brother, Tony Williams of Paris; and his cherished twin grandchildren, Scarlett and Wyatt Williams; nephew, Justin (Elisa) Patterson of Paris; niece, Nikki (Cliff) Stevick of Tampa, FL; great-nephew, Kaycen Patterson; great-nieces, Emma Stevick and Aniah Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Luther McCutcheon; his father, Ernest Williams; and his maternal grandmother, Emma B. Williams.
Memorial graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Paris.
Co-Pilot’s warmth, humor, and love for his family and friends will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
