Mrs. Myrtle Estelle Foster, 86, of Paris died Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Patriot Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Sparks Street Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the church.

Myrtle Estelle Foster, daughter of the late Earnest and Victorine Tharpe born on October 26, 1939, in Camden, TN.

She professed Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of Sparks Street Church of Christ until her health failed. She was joined in Holy matrimony to the late Luther John Foster. She retired from Dana Incorporated (Plumley Rubber Company) in 2001 after working 28 years of faithful service.

Estelle went out of her way visiting family and friends. She enjoyed talking and laughing with everyone. She enjoyed riding and site seeing. Her family called her “Maw Maw” and if you liked it or not, she spoke the truth. She was known for her “caramel cake” and friendly gesture.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Mary, Ola Mai, Inna, and Delia Mai Tharpe and brother, Charlie Tharpe and great grandchild, Angel Foster.

Leaving behind to cherish her loving memories are her sons, Ernest (Shebrenda) Foster; Gary (Catherine) Foster; grandchildren: Lamont Foster, Jessica (Royal) Lattimore, Petra and Paris Travis, and Brandon (Penny) Foster and Cameron Foster, Ciarra Allen and Alexis Allen; great children: Anayah and Jaila Lattimore , Nevaeh, Jamari, Ayvri, Sariyah Foster, Harmonee Tyler, Kaiso, Princeton, Adonis, Kylan Linear, and Prezadant Dickerson, Amarion Manzi, Arria and Tru Roberts, Kayden Thompson and Anorah Dunlap; great great grandchild Jamarion Foster; plus a special niece Jeannie (Odell) Long and host nieces and nephews along with family and friends. A special friend Clearance Jennings.
