Faye Ann Dumas

Mrs. Faye Ann Dumas, 73, of Sharon died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital. Services will be Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church in Sharon, with the Rev. E.N. Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Sharon. Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday. She was born in Sharon April 16, 1937, daughter of the late Willie Catherine (Clemons) and Wade Evans Sr. She was the widow of Charles L. Dumas and was a member of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church. She had been a cook at local restaurants. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael S. and Ruby Miller of Dale City, Va., Randy and Octavia Miller of Dresden and Darrell and Kimberly Miller of Sharon; her brother, the Rev. Robert L. Evans Sr. of Pasadena, Md.; her sister-in-law, Betty J. Evans of Sharon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two aunts, Pauline Tharpe of Sharon and Jimmie Dumas of Paris. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Thomas Evans, Jerry Wayne Evans and Wade Evans Jr.; and her sister, Kay Frances Jones Rawls Funeral Home – Union City 731-885-8110
