Frances Kerney

Ms. Frances Kerney, 79, of Union City died Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2019, at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the church.

She was born on December 25, 1939, in Fulton, KY to late Will Allen Kerney and Grace Johnson. She was a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Baptist Memorial Hospital.

She is survived her daughter, Deirdre Newbern of Fulton, KY; two sons, Frederick Kerney and Delmont Newbern both of Union City; three brothers, Willie James (Jean) Kerney of Chillicothe, OH, Joseph (Kathy) Kerney of Riverdale, IL and Perry (Rose) Kerney of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Patsy Gordon of Triangle, VA and Brenda Sue Kerney of Fulton, KY; a aunt, Martha Johnson of Fulton, KY; grandchildren, Deundrick Coble, Roderick Saxton, Ronica Smith, Ramone Kerney, Heather Minor, Erica Newbern, Maciah Kerney and Daphanie Jackson; a host of great grandchildren and other relatives.
