Mr. Fredrick "Fred" Ingram, 71 of Union City died Monday, January 24, 2022, at his home.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at the church.
He was born May 18, 1950, in Jackson Tennessee and the son of the late Artimba and Ruby Ingram. Fredrick accepted Christ at a young age. He moved to Jackson, Michigan at an early age and was raised there. After high school and working for some time he was relocated to Union City, TN where him and his family settled.
He was employed at Goodyear Tire Company and retired as a hard working tire builder after 41 years. After retirement, he took advantage of traveling, visiting his children and grandchildren, taking pictures, and watching NBA Basketball.
Fredrick loved taking care of his array of plants, shopping for the latest fashions, collecting jewelry and hats, and listening to good music. He made it a point to have the best-looking yard on the block in his neighborhood.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 44 years, Theresa Ingram, son; Lucas (Tiffany) Ingram of Lawrenceville, Georgia; daughter; Kellee Ingram of Nashville Tennessee; grandchildren, Nathaniel Ingram, Leighton Ingram, and Rebekah Ingram; two sisters, Dorothy Yarborough of Jackson, Tennessee and Candyce E. Brownlee of Flower Mound, Texas; one brother, Curtis R. Ingram of Jackson, Michigan. He also leaves behind two very special people in his life, his aunt, Elizabeth Walton of Jackson, Michigan and cousin, Linda Barham of Jackson, Michigan along with a host of other cousins, friends, and family members.
