Mrs. Freddie Brown, 89, of Union City died Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Union City Manor Nursing and Rehab. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 20, 2017, at Greater Bethel Church of God In Christ. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday at the church.Freddie Davis Brown was born on September 30, 1927, the daughter of Clarence Davis and Betty King, in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Freddie was a member of Greater Bethel Church of God In Christ. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Obion County General Hospital.  She was married to the late Willie Brown. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Jesse B. Hammonds, Delores Hammonds, Prince Tramere Hammonds, Kimberly Harold Brown, Rosie Ann Sellers, Willie D. “Peanut” Brown, Freddrick Earl Brown, Betty Jean Rohr and Robert Earl Brown; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
