Gary Lee Turner

Mr. Gary Lee Turner, 55, of Union City died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at his home.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Gary Lee Turner was born March 29, 1966.  He was born in Union City, Tennessee to Shirley Roberson and E.Z. Cooper.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and also the Hickman Kentucky National Guard, He worked several years at Williams Sausage until his health no longer allowed him to work.

Gary leaves to cherish his life, his mother, Shirley Roberson of Union City, TN, three children; Gary Lee Turner, Jr., Amanda Marques Turner and Xavier Turner all of Port Huron, MI, four sisters; Linda Guy and Brenda Cooper both of Belleville, IL, Gwendolyn Dysart and Cynthia Nunley both of Union City, TN, one brother; Earnest Daniels of Jonesboro, GA, two uncles; Charlie Turner and Thomas Edward Turner both of Union City, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother; Earsie Roberson, grandfather; Charlie Turner Sr., his father; E.Z. Cooper, siblings; Jerry Cooper, Billy Turner, Jacqueline Wall , David Turner and James Gary Davis .
