Gladys Mae Carr

Mrs. Gladys Mae Carr, 78, of Union City died Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Gladys Mae Carr was born on March 13, 1945, in Hickman, KY.

She was a loyal devoted, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a smile and presence that would light up every room or place she entered. Her laugh would change anyone's discouraging mood to an abundant bliss. She never met a stranger wherever she went. She was definitely blessed and highly favored.

She leaves to mourn her children; Joseph (Pam) Brewer, Donovan (Tammy) Woods, Stacey (Jackie) Carr, Prema (Steve) Carr and Terry Woodard; her two granddaughters: Kara (Tasha) Scales and Mareshia "Lace", Mays (the cherished one); two grandsons: Jordan Terry and Leland Woodard; two great- granddaughters: Marciyah Mays (Her baby) and Taylann Patton; one great-grandson, Mario Mays; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Azel Wilson , her daughter, Princess Woods ; brother, Tommy (Alice) Brewer and reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Stacey Carr, Sr .
