Gladys Inez Long

Mrs. Gladys Inez Long, 78, of Paris died Sunday, October 30, 2022, at her residence.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow immediately in Greenwood Cemetery.

She was born on January 22, 1945, to the late Roger Wilkins and Mary Lavern Alexander Wilkins. She was married to the late Horace Eugene Long. She attended school in Henry County and was employed at Emerson Electric Company until she retired.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Louise Long of Paris, TN; two sons, Michael (Judy) Long of Paris, TN and Keith (Angela) "Rocky" Long of Auburn, KY; four grandchildren, Brian Long, Quincy Long, Malcolm Long and Sara North; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Alexander of Paris, TN and Velma Reid of Detroit, MI; one aunt, Lola Louis Banks of Paris, TN a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Detric Littleton; three brothers Robert Alexander, Marvin Wilkins and Edward Ray Wilkins; two sisters, Rogerlene Hughes and Marlene Cole and one uncle, Harold Alexander.
