Gwendolyn Teague

Ms. Gwendolyn "Gwen" Teague, 74, of Paris died Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Henry County Medical Center.

Services will be held at noon on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Quinn Chapel AME Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the church.

Gwendolyn Evelyn Teague was born in Paris, TN on December 15, 1948, to her late parents Garfield Teague and Kathryn Teague.

She attended Central High School before entering the workforce. Working as a cook for several restaurants before she later retired, she was a member of Quinn Chapel AME Church.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Garfield and Kathryn Teague, 2 sisters Priscilla Teague and Janet Teague one grandson Malik Teague and one brother David Perry.

She leaves to cherish her memories four sons, Timothy (Pamela) Teague of Martin, TN, Larry (Lisa) Teague of Paris, TN, Ricky (Kimberly) Teague of Murfreesboro, TN and Terrell Cowans of Paris, TN; twelve grandchildren; host of great grandchildren; four sisters Cathy Boyd of Camden, TN Jeannette Wilson of Paris, TN, Cynthia White of Paris, TN and Candace Teague of Paris, TN; five brothers, Kenneth (Linda) Teague of Paris, TN Ronald Teague of Paris, TN, Charles Teague, Patrick Teague and Josh Teague all of Puryear, TN; a special friend, Robert Patton; several nieces, nephews and other family.
