Hafford Upchurch, Jr.

Mr. Hafford Upchurch, Jr., of Jackson formerly of Paris died Monday, July 10, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023, in McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home. He was born on January 14, 1952, in Paris to the late Nina Hudson Upchurch and Hafford Upchurch, Sr. He was a 1970 graduate of Central High School, a retired employee of General Motors and a Veteran of the United States Army. He loved to fish, cook and watch T.V. He is survived by his children, Ramona (Michael) Tharpe, Willie (Artina) Fitzgerald, DyJuan (Tamika) Upchurch, Teneshia Upchurch, Tierra Upchurch, Alonzo Upchurch and Andrew Upchurch; two sisters, Linda Garrett and Jenny Upchurch; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rosienell Kinel and Peggy Travis and two brothers, Kenny and Jimmy Upchurch. McPhearson-Rawls Funeral Home - Paris 731-642-1515
