Harold Eugene Mcclerkin

Mr. Harold Eugene McClerkin, 47, of Hickman died Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Parkway Regional Hospital. Services will be Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Anointed Church of the Living God in Union City, with Bishop Barbara Bolden officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. He was born December 13, 1963, in Union City, son of the late Cortez McClerkin Sr. and Mattie Brown McClerkin of Hickman. He was a former employee of Morning Star and was a member of the National Guard. He is also survived by six sisters and two brothers-in-law, Sala May Sanders of Toledo, Ohio, Mary and Charles Buntyn of Xenia, Ohio, Mary and Greg Wilson of Mayfield, Ky., Georgia Brown and Rosa Ann Winters, both of Union City, and Marily McClerkin of Hickman; and three brothers and his sister-in-law, Walter and Inez Avery of Fulton, Jesse McClerkin of Union City and Tom Brown of Minneapolis. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Wayne Brown, Robert McClerkin, Samuel McClerkin and Cortez McClerkin Jr. Rawls Funeral Home - Union City 731-885-8110
